Female Hub Rugby Activity, Autumn 2020
Due to the impact of COVID and subsequent lockdown and suspension of rugby activity, we are all aware that the majority of the Hub Season, so far has been lost. Therefore, based on feedback received, we encourage, where appropriate, Female Hubs to train during the autumn period, as per WRU and government guidelines, if they wish, from August, up until end of December 2020.
Female Hub Season 2021
Hopefully, if we are at a point of return to a full programme in 2021, it is anticipated that the Female Hub Season will return for a full season from 1st March 2021 and run until 31st August 2021. There will be a "winter break" for Hubs in January and February 2021.
Women's Club Game, Season 2020-21
We are working alongside the Senior men's clubs to plan options for a return to competition and the Senior Women's leagues. We are working hard with Welsh Government to facilitate the return of competition as and when it is safe to do so, and this will be communicated in due course.
Player and Coach Registration
In order to prepare for the recommencement of rugby activity, all players must be registered prior to beginning any return to rugby. Coaches are also encouraged to update their details. Registration will go "live" from 1st August. Communication from WRU Club Operations to follow shortly.
For all information regarding the safe return to rugby, please ensure you have made contact with the designated Club Operations Manager at your Host Club, who has all the necessary information to ensure guidelines are met for your groups.
