Haverfordwest 74 - Burry Port 17
Haverfordwest Ladies started their Cup campaign with an excellent win over a Burry Port side on Sunday, January 17th. Haverfordwest ladies ran in 12 tries as Burry Port could not cope with towns running rugby style led by club captain Nina Colville and her young back line, ably supported by the forwards who supplied good possession.
The woman of the match was Awen Prysor who along with captain Nina Colville led by example providing for a dominant display. Thanks go to St Davids RFC who hosted the game as the pitches in Haverfordwest were unplayable.
Scorers were Nina Colville, Delyth Foster, Emma Evans, Lyn Egelstaff, Emily Carrington, Awen Prysor, Jessica Charles, Rachel Harding and Jo Price, who also landed seven conversions.
