Its a long way from Tipperary

SHAY BUCKLEYS CHARITY WALK

Walking with Kevin Fox (Foxy)

Ten years ago Kevin Fox walked the 110 miles from Haverfordwest to Cahir in County Tipperary to mark the 50th anniversary of Mary Immaculate school. Three years after that he and Shay walked the 100 miles from Cardiff to Haverfordwest to raise money in memory of Kanga and the MND Charity.Kevin hoped to repeat the walk to Ireland this year but sadly died of Cancer on March 29th.

In his memory and to raise monies for Paul Sartori Carers Shay is retracing the walk but this time from Cahir in County Tipperary back to Mary Immaculate school.

The walk began on Wednesday 13th September and is due to conclude this Sunday 17th September when Shay will arrive at Pembroke port (1245) and then complete the walk over the Cleddau Bridge joining the cycle track below Neyland Marina bridge (approx 2pm) where he will walk the cycle path to Haverfordwest via Johnston (3pm approx), before emerging at MacDonalds roundabout and up to the school.

If you wish to join the last day of the walk at any stage please feel free.

Any donations are gratefully received and should you wish to get your own sponsors for the walfk on Sunday please feel free.

PLEASE COME AND SUPPORT SHAY AND HIS AIM TO RAISE MONIES FOR A VERY WORTHWHILE CAUSE.
